Top 50 of 185 ranked. ▲▼ = places moved since last week. Members see the top 100 and every player's rating inside each prop.
How the rating works
- Every innings since 2024 counts, older innings less (half weight after a year).
- Batters: runs per innings and average, times strike rate compared with the format (it matters most in T20, little in Tests). Runs against strong attacks count more.
- Bowlers: wickets per innings and economy (strike rate in Tests) against the format average, adjusted for the batting faced.
- 950 = the best player on the list, everyone else in proportion. Ranked: 10+ innings and a game in the last year. Men and women are rated separately.
Ratings are worked out by ChalkEdge from stored results. They are research tools, not guarantees.
